Episode 2 of Michonnes mini adventure gets even better, with trying to escape from the boat settlement, more mystery about Michonnes kids, and of course tough decisions.
The gameplay in this episode was good like the first, making you feel like you are Michonne when pressing the quick time events in style as well as with interacting with the world and dialogue options.
On the creative side, this Episode does a good job of keeping you on your toes. You may think you know how things are going to go but then a curveball gets thrown at ya and someone’s dead.
The episode did a fantastic job of immersing into the role of Michonne once more, making you feel for Michonne as well. The flashback scenes were a great touch that took you into the mind of Michonne at key points that didn’t feel out of place. Add that in with the great dialogue choices to choose from and you get a game that really gets it right with honing down Michonne.
Also to add in, during Michonnes flashback scene I thought it was cool that they actually showed the destroyed city in the background outside the windows. It really did have a eerie feeling behind it and again keeps you immersed in the unknowing.
Replay wise, the game offers a lot of dialogue choices to go back too but also a few key parts that can definitely change the course of the next episode which I enjoyed. To add on to that, there were also a few parts to go back and play to learn more information about the world itself as well as finding more about Michonne’s kids and friends.
This episode was another fun adventure, with more turns than twists but a good amount of action and story to keep any fan of the Walking dead satisfied.
Overall, another great episode in the series that makes it hard to wait for the finale.
After calculating the scores, Michonne Episode 2 gets a 5 out of 5!
