How Do You Do It? |indie Game Review

A very unique and comical indie game, “How Do You Do It?” puts players in the role of a young girl whose trying to learn how sex works  by playing with her dolls before her mother gets back home.

Gameplay .5/1

The gameplay in this indie game is pretty much non-existent other than the A,S,D and J,K keys on the keyboard to move the dolls around in funny sexual positions. However, for this particular game that’s not too much of an issue since the crazy positions you can get the dolls into with the keys are very comical.

Creative 1/1

On the creative side, the game does a good job of differing itself from pretty much any game you’ll ever play. You play as an 11 year old trying to learn the birds and the bees by playing with toys. If that doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will.

Immersion 0/1

For the short bursts you are playing the game, it does an okay job of immersing you into the shoes of the very naive mind of a kid who doesn’t quite know what sex is. However you never really feel like anything major is going to happen when you do get caught by your mom in-game.

Replay 0/1

There really isn’t any long term replay value in the game itself, other than trying it out some more times when showing new friends who haven’t played the game. It’s a few minutes of bumping and grinding with the two dolls before your mother gets home and you either get caught or you don’t. No levels or new “toys” to play with.

Fun 1/1

Even though the game didn’t offer too much outside of being creative, it still was a blast to play and had me laughing the entire way through which is good since that’s what games are supposed to do, bring something enjoyable and relaxing to the table.

If you want to try something creative, comical and free you should definitely check out this indie game.

After calculating the scores…. “How Do You Do It?” gets a 2.5 out of 5
