Failure |Motivating Tuesday!

“You have to fail 100 times to succeed once”. This, a lot of people look at people who have “made it” and think that they’ve always been at the top or that it was easy, but unless your from a very wealthy family who gave you your status or wealth or just extremely lucky  9 times out of 10 you actually worked for it. One of my favorite “mentors” is the ‘Rock’ aka Dwayne Johnson, from being a kid I always looked up to him and wanted to be similar to him in the niceness and charismatic aura that he always seemed to have even before he became a big movie hero.

As I grew older however, I started to learn more about the true Dwayne Johnson, and how he struggled and failed at sports, his many fights with depression as well as living with only $7 to his name at one point. This spoke to me because it showed that everyone has their days when they feel that the world is crashing down on them and that there’s no light in sight but the only difference between the people who “make it” and who don’t is faith in perseverance. If you can’t believe in yourself,  if you can’t believe you can be the best “you” that you can be, what makes you think anyone else will? The more you fail, the closer you are to succeeding…
